We provide high-quality education for pupils between the ages of 11-16 with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. The Role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to help pupils engage in their learning, develop independence and build emotional resilience.

Your role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils in class and in small groups across a range of subjects
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation through therapeutic approaches
  • Assisting with learning activities, planning and classroom organisation
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their personal and academic development

Who are we looking for?

Someone patient, adaptable and passionate about helping young people thrive. Experience of working with children or adults with SEND or SEMH needs is essential. Excellent spoken English skills as some of our students have communication barriers. Desirable – Full UK driving licence with less than 3 points.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
