Mainstream Primary School in Ormskirk (L39) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from December 2025. This is a term-time-only position supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across various subjects and activities. You will assist both individual children and small groups, helping to close gaps in learning and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils learning across a range of curriculum areas in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Assist class teachers with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
- Provide individual or small group support tailored to pupils needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and build positive relationships with pupils
- Help monitor and report on pupil progress and engagement

Essential Requirements:
