We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to work across a network of secondary schools in Oldham and Rochdale from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and supporting young people’s development across the secondary age range. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality sports and physical activity sessions to pupils aged 11–16, working across multiple secondary school settings. The role involves supporting PE departments, leading structured sessions, and encouraging students to engage positively in sport and physical wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Support students of varying abilities to participate, progress, and develop skills
  • Work across multiple secondary school sites in Oldham and Rochdale
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, confidence, and healthy lifestyles
  • Assist with PE lessons, extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities
  • Provide effective behaviour management and maintain a safe, inclusive environment
  • Support competitive school sport and inter‑school events where required
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support student development and engagement
