The Role

We are looking for an inspirational PE teacher who can encourage students to develop their physical fitness, teamwork, confidence and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a positive, inclusive and engaging sporting culture within the school.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Support and lead extracurricular activities, sports teams and school competitions.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness and student wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour, participation and achievement.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is passionate about promoting health, fitness and wellbeing among young people.
  • Can inspire, motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to making a positive difference to students’ lives.
