Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistants to work in welcoming nursery settings across Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are looking to gain valuable experience within early years education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5 years.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare, or educational setting is desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or a related field is highly desirable.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
