About the Role
- Deliver targeted interventions and specialist teaching to pupils across EYFS to KS5.
- Support pupils with complex learning barriers and progress their confidence and their social, emotional and communication skills.
- Use multi‑sensory approaches and work cooperatively with specialist multidisciplinary teams to advance and deliver these.
- Monitoring and assessing pupils progress and providing updates for pupils, parents/guardians and other teaching staff.
- Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive environment that encourages expression and learning simultaneously.
Requirements
- Awarded a PGCE and now looking to gain your QTS.
- Good knowledge on how to adapt the curriculum for children with SEN.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, resilient and able to create a fun learning environment.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, peers and parents.
- Clear understanding of safeguarding.
