We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support children with special educational needs (SEN). As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will receive high-quality training while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. This position is perfect for those who have a love for helping others but may not have previous experience or qualifications in education. We are working with a number of Secondary Schools based in Tameside, and ideally candidates would be able to commute to Droylsden, Hyde, Ashton, Dukinfield and/or Glossop. This role will start ASAP and run full-time until December 2026.

Essential candidate requirements:

  • The ability to be flexible and work closely with all school departments to identify and help those students that need additional support.
  • It is essential that applicants are able to build relationships and connect with a variety of students from different backgrounds.
  • Candidates must be organised and have experience supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
