We’re looking for kind, committed, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in Redhill. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
- Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Support the implementation of IEPs and behaviour strategies
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting preferred)
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- SEN or education-related qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
