We're looking for dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a specialist educational provision north of Norwich, supporting children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education. The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them engage with learning, regulate their emotions, and develop positive relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural needs
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and classroom learning activities
- Building positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence
- Managing challenging behaviour using calm, consistent approaches
- Providing structure, routine, and emotional support throughout the school day
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning plans

Driving Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Due to the location of the school and the nature of the role, candidates must be able to travel independently.
