Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for supporting young children in their early development? Do you have a level 2 or 3 EYFS specific qualification?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside Nurseries and Reception classes across South Birmingham to provide committed and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant support. There is the opportunity for an immediate start for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be caring, patient, and passionate about supporting children in the Early Years. You will have a good understanding of the EYFS framework, experience supporting children with SEN, and the ability to work closely with class teachers to support learning and development.

Role and Responsibilities of an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting children’s learning through play-based activities
  • Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups
  • Assisting with interventions planned by the class teacher
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and behavioural wellbeing
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including SEN
  • Maintaining positive communication between school and home when required
