Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, long-term role in Northamptonshire? We are currently recruiting experienced SEND TAs to work across a range of specialist and mainstream schools throughout Northamptonshire, supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality, individualised support to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You may be supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, complex needs, communication difficulties and other SEND requirements.

- Previous SEND experience is essential
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
- A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
- Driving is desirable, particularly for candidates looking to work across different areas of Northamptonshire
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential where appropriate experience is held
