What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a committed, compassionate and creative Teacher who can inspire young people who may not have thrived in mainstream settings.
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Strong ability to engage and motivate learners
- Passion for supporting students’ emotional and academic development
- Experience working in a school environment (secondary experience an advantage)
- Understanding of alternative provision and SEN
- Excellent communication and professional conduct
- Good working knowledge of English, Maths, or Science (Grade C/4 or above)
- Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and British Values
- Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills
Qualifications
- QTS or QTLS preferred, or willingness to work towards it
- Relevant degree in teaching subject (desirable)
- SEN or specialist teaching qualifications (desirable)
