SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Make an Impact in Northampton

Are you a resilient, patient, and dedicated educator looking to change lives? We are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs across Primary schools in Northampton and the surrounding areas.

Whether you are looking for the flexibility of agency cover or a path to a permanent career, this role offers the perfect balance of challenge and reward.

Hours: 9AM – 4 PM | Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Contract: Full-Time Agency Cover with Permanent opportunities available

As an SEN LSA, you aren’t just a classroom assistant;

  • Targeted Support: Overcoming Barriers: Helping pupils manage emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
  • Adapting materials and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure no child is left behind.

Experience: Previous experience in a school setting and supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable.

Specialist Skills: Team Teach training and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) experience are highly valued.

A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
