We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Northampton.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.
No previous teaching experience is required, making this the perfect stepping stone into education.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student engagement and participation throughout lessons.
- Support students aged 11-16 in achieving their learning objectives.
- Build confidence leading classes independently.
- Gain experience across different subjects, year groups, and school settings.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding expectations.
- Holds a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in a subject taught within the secondary curriculum (or a related discipline).
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident speaking in front of groups and leading a classroom.
- Is passionate about working with young people.
- Is considering a future career in teaching or education.
- Is organised, adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn.
- Has, or is willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
