Teaching Assistant Opportunities in Durham Secondary Schools

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: £90 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and students to provide classroom support and individualised assistance, helping to ensure every student can succeed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents to support student progress.
