We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher and TA to join our specialist team; a nurturing and inclusive school committed to empowering every child to reach their full potential.
About the school
This fantastic school provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech and language and attachment and trauma. Each child has an EHCP. The school has a well-established in-house Intervention Team, including therapists, rebound therapy, behaviour specialists, and learning mentors who work closely with teaching staff to ensure every learner receives the personalised support they need to thrive.
The Roles
- As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver creative, individualised lessons tailored to a range of learning styles and developmental levels.
- Create a classroom culture that promotes safety, respect, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement EHCP targets and intervention plans.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils evolving needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals.
- Weβre Looking for Someone Who:
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with complex SEN.
- Has a deep understanding of inclusive education and child-centred approaches.

- As an SEN TA, you will:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs), EHCP targets, and personalised learning strategies.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide behavioural, emotional, and social support to promote engagement and inclusion.
