Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Science Technician to play a key role in ensuring practical lessons run smoothly. You'll prepare equipment, maintain resources, and support teachers and students during experiments. Strong scientific knowledge is essential.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and setting up equipment for science lessons
- Maintaining and storing chemicals and apparatus safely
- Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
You need:
- A degree in a science related subject (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in secondary schools (preferable but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students
