We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to work with secondary schools across Norwich. - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the secondary curriculum and exam specifications
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school initiatives
- Participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence teaching students aged 11–16
- Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), ideally on the DBS Update Service
