Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with secondary schools in the Newton Abbot area to recruit a dedicated and confident English Teacher for a long-term role. This position offers stability and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ progress and outcomes.
The Role:
- Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress to support achievement
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative English department

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or is working towards QTS
- Has strong subject knowledge in English
- Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers
