Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a forward‐thinking secondary school in the Teignmouth area to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher with an interest in Esports. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department that is passionate about preparing students for the digital future. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Computer Science lessons while also supporting the development of Esports within the school, helping to inspire the next generation of technology and gaming professionals.
The Role
- Deliver high‐quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Teach topics including programming, cybersecurity, digital literacy, and computer systems
- Support and develop the school's Esports provision and extracurricular opportunities
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
- Have an interest in or knowledge of Esports and the wider gaming industry
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be passionate about technology and committed to student success

An immediate start is preferred; however, the school is happy to consider outstanding candidates available from September. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
