Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a Welsh-medium primary school in the NP7 area of Newport for a fluent Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is due to start from next week and will involve full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class for the remainder of the academic year. For the right candidate, there is the potential for this position to lead to a permanent contract from the next academic year.

The role:

  • Full-time Welsh-medium Primary Teacher
  • Teaching a Year 5 class
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh
  • Managing classroom behaviour and supporting pupil progress
  • Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

Location: NP7 area, Newport

Duration: Until the end of the academic year

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Daily rate: £172.98

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting
