Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a Welsh-medium primary school in the Newport area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teacher for a permanent position commencing in September 2026. The Role

As a Welsh Medium Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching through the medium of Welsh, creating a stimulating classroom environment, and supporting pupils to become confident, independent learners. You will play an important role in fostering a positive attitude towards learning and contributing to the wider life of the school.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh.

The Ideal Candidate

• Is a fluent Welsh speaker with the ability to teach confidently through the medium of Welsh.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting is desirable.
• Sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Ability to teach and communicate fluently in Welsh.
