About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff. All lessons are fully planned, meaning your role is to supervise learning, maintain classroom expectations, and ensure students remain engaged with their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects
- Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Encourage participation and engagement in learning
- Support pupils to complete tasks and meet lesson objectives
