This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive secondary school in Newport, working within a strong and well-established Maths department.
The school is seeking a confident and motivated Maths graduate to deliver pre-planned Maths lessons to pupils in Years 7–9, supporting learning, managing behaviour, and developing the skills needed for a future career in teaching.
The Role- Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons planned by the Head of Maths
- Teach Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9 only)
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Gain invaluable classroom experience ahead of teacher training
- Secondary school located in Newport
