Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Newhaven. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning, particularly those with additional needs.

The Role
- Support pupils in class, including those with SEN
- Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
- Assist teachers in ensuring all pupils can access learning
- Support behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment
- Carry out break and lunchtime duties as required
- Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school or similar setting preferred)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Level 2 qualification in childcare/education (desirable, not essential)
