We are currently working with an Outstanding Nursery in Jesmond who are seeking qualified Nursery Assistants to join their friendly, dedicated team at their well-established nursery in Jesmond, Newcastle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Providing high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
• Paediatrict fFirst Aid is preferred but not essential
• DBS checked (or willing to undergo a DBS check)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
