Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner with a passion for supporting young children's early development? A welcoming school nursery in Walker, Newcastle is seeking a committed practitioner to join their team on a supply basis. Job Type: Temporary/supply position, with potential for ongoing work
Location: School nursery in Walker, Newcastle
Hours: Flexible shifts available - term-time only
- Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that inspire learning
- Work closely with the class teacher and nursery team to meet individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and independence
- Build strong communication with children, staff, and parents
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an early years setting, ideally within a school nursery
- Solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Warm, flexible, and professional approach
