About the Role
- Deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and capability.
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that cater to students of varying abilities and learning needs.
- Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help maximise attainment and achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Uphold high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Maths department and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High standards of classroom management and behaviour management.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
