Teaching Personnel is recruiting teachers across all phases for its Guaranteed Work Scheme across Newcastle and Northumberland - offering guaranteed pay, regardless of whether a booking comes in that day. It's an ideal option for teachers who enjoy the variety and flexibility of supply work but want the reassurance of a consistent income. You'll work across a range of schools throughout Newcastle and Northumberland, building relationships with local schools and staff, while knowing your earnings are protected each week.

For teachers open to working in secondary schools, the scheme can be particularly beneficial, with increased availability leading to more regular placements and greater opportunities to secure longer‑term or permanent positions.

Responsibilities
  • Working across primary, middle or secondary schools in Newcastle and Northumberland
  • Covering a range of year groups and subjects depending on your experience and specialism
  • Delivering pre‑planned lessons or your own where appropriate
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
  • Upholding safeguarding and behaviour policies in every setting
Qualifications
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
