The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. You may provide support on a 1:1 basis, work with small intervention groups, or assist within the classroom to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference and supporting students both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects.
• Deliver 1:1 support for students with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• Assist with learning interventions and academic progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
• Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
