Music Teacher Position in Leeds

Teaching Personnel is working closely with several Secondary Schools in West Yorkshire. We are currently seeking a Fully Qualified Music Teacher to work in an Ofsted-rated \’Good\’ School in Leeds. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role.

Main Duties:

  1. Prepare lessons and teaching materials
  2. Manage classroom behaviour
  3. Discuss students\’ progress with parents and carers
  4. Organise study trips, social activities, and lead school musical shows and events

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
  • Hold a QTS relevant to Music or have experience teaching Music
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one
  • Have a child-enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
  • References covering the last 24 months of employment must be available upon request

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
