Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support several of our specialist education partners in Morpeth area.
About the Role
- You will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism (ASD), and Processing or Learning Difficulties (LD).
- Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, you'll help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised one-to-one and small-group support
- Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
- Follow EHCPs and support plans to promote steady progress
- Support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and behaviour
- Use visual supports, sensory tools, and alternative communication systems
