A client school in the Northumberland area NE61 is seeking a confident, supportive and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team. This role involves working closely with students who have a range of additional needs, with a particular focus on supporting learning within English lessons up to GCSE level. If you are passionate about helping young learners overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND, primarily within English.
  • Assist learners in developing reading, writing and comprehension skills.
  • Confidently support content up to GCSE level.

  • Encourage independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
