Teaching Personnel are looking for an ambitious, confident and passionate Nurture Teacher for a SEN school in Milton Keynes (MK8). This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm) in a SEN provisioned school supporting children with a range of additional needs.
As a teacher you will:
- Ensure the holistic development of pupils
- Develop and equip pupils' skills for life after school
- Ensure students' cognitive and moral qualities and traits contribute to a person’s individuality
- Have knowledge of the curriculum and be able to adapt this to the needs of individuals
- Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) and performance management in line with Trust policy and practice
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of self, ideally first aid trained
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
- Minimum of three months UK residency
- QTS knowledge of the curriculum
