1:1 Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools Location: Millbrook and Lordshill

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across Millbrook and the wider Southampton area. In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support, helping pupils feel confident, included and supported in their daily learning within diverse and community-focused schools.

The Role

  • Location: Primary schools across Millbrook
  • Pay: £13.75 per hour
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Start date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of two years’ employment history
  • Experience in education or working with children is desirable (but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
