- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (CLDD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Communication difficulties
- Sensory processing needs

The Role
As an SEN Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils throughout the school day. Working alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will help students engage in learning, build social skills, develop independence, and regulate their emotions.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with their learning and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and personal development
- Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies
- Supporting communication using specialist approaches where required
- Providing personal care support when needed
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable individuals with additional needs
- Confidence managing challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
- A willingness to provide personal care support
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patience, resilience, and adaptability
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEND
Desirable Experience
- Supporting individuals with ASC, PMLD, CLDD, or SEMH needs
- Experience within specialist education, care, residential, or support settings
- Team Teach or behaviour management training
- Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, AAC, or alternative communication methods
