We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom cover in a Year 5 setting at a welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils’ learning and work as part of a supportive school team.

About the Role:
- Support the class teacher in a Year 5 classroom
- Provide general classroom cover and assist with day-to-day learning activities
- Support pupils both individually and in small groups
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour support
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting (preferred)
- Confidence supporting pupils in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5
- A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Middlesbrough, supporting a Year 5 class on a general cover basis.
