We are looking for a passionate and adaptable Modern Foreign Language Teacher (French and Spanish) for maternity cover starting in September. The cover is for a highly successful, outstanding rated, inclusive school which strives to ensure all students make exceptional progress whilst prioritising their personal development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to support students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive outcomes for students
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic progress
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or working towards)
- ECTs/NQTs are very welcome
- Has previous experience teaching MFL, ideally within a secondary setting
- Confident classroom presence and strong subject knowledge
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- An up‑to‑date DBS or the willingness to get one
- Satisfactory background screening
