Welsh-Speaking Unqualified Teaching Assistant (Possible ALN Support)
Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Contract: Full Time, Until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)

About the Role
- Provide classroom support across the primary age range through the medium of Welsh and English.
- Support pupils with ALN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs.
- Assist class teachers with engaging and accessible lessons and activities.
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to build confidence and independence.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive classroom.
- Work closely with teachers, ALNCOs, and support staff to meet individual pupil needs.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A confident Welsh speaker (essential).
- Patient, caring, and understanding of children’s individual needs.
- Passionate about supporting children to overcome barriers to learning.
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working in different classroom settings.
- A strong team player with good communication skills.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential — ideal for those looking to gain school-based experience.

- References covering the last two years of employment
