We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to work across a range of Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools throughout Merthyr, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Caerphilly. About the Roles
- Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils across a range of ages and abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Cover Supervisor
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged with learning.
- Supervise whole classes independently.
- Support students in completing set work and maintaining a productive classroom environment.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Reliable and able to work in different school settings.
- Strong communicators with good behaviour management skills.
- Patient, supportive, and approachable.
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Welsh speakers are encouraged to apply, though this is not essential.
