Are you a caring and patient individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? One of our partnership schools in Pentre (CF41) is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.
About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional learning needs (ALN), including Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver tailored learning and behaviour support
- Manage behaviour positively and promote inclusion within the classroom
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Are patient, nurturing, and able to build strong relationships
- Have experience in education or transferable skills from related sectors (desirable but not essential)
Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support for obtaining the following:
- Education Workforce (EWC) Registration
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- References covering two years of employment
