Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Casual Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Melton Mowbray and the surrounding areas. The Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms, helping teachers deliver engaging learning experiences and ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive.
Duties may include:
- Supporting pupils in class on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
- Encouraging pupil engagement and positive behaviour
- Adapting quickly to different school environments and age groups
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with children in schools, childcare, youth work or similar settings
- Have a positive, flexible and reliable attitude
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Have strong communication skills
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Have an interest in SEN support (advantageous but not required)
