We are looking for maths tutors in Trafford and surrounding areas to support young learners with their academic studies and provide encouragement. As a tutor, you should bring enthusiasm, professionalism, respect, and a commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of young people.
The pay rate is £25-£30 per hour. A full UK driving license is desirable, as tuition often occurs in students' homes or community settings.
Requirements for the role:
- QTS or relevant classroom or tuition experience
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- A desire to motivate and encourage students
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one (support provided)
- Experience working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
- Professional references covering the past 24 months from your two most recent employers
