Teaching Personnel are working with a \”Good\” rated secondary school based in Coventry City Centre (CV1) to appoint a maths teacher on a full time basis to start with immediate effect.

Hours: Full Time (Mon-Fri, term time only)

Rate of Pay: To scale (ECT\’s welcome to apply)

Start Date: ASAP

The ideal candidate will:

– Hold a UK QTS

– Have experience teaching Maths up to and including A-Level in a UK based school

– Have excellent references

– Have strong behaviour management skills and a dominant presence within the classroom

– Have an enhanced, child-only DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

– Be confident and professional

The successful candidate will be expected to:

– Plan and deliver a range of engaging and stimulating Maths lessons to a range of year groups and abilities

– Regularly assess pupil\’s progress through forms of assessment

– Provide regular feedback to students to help support their development

– Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department and wider school community

– Maintain committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment where safeguarding is at the centre of your practice

– Partake in extra curricular activities such as parent\’s evenings to help contribute to the wider school community
