Job Description
Join the Maths department of a large secondary school in Salford, providing support for pupils aged 11-16. Full-time English teacher. Start Date – January 2026 Paid in line with teaching scale M1 UPS1 Teaching pupils aged 11-16.
The incoming Maths teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE and will be expected to take on a full timetable. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside delivering lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability. It will also be important to monitor and assess pupils progress and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it require further discussion.
Our client school is in Salford and can be accessed via the M61 and M60 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton and South Manchester. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via public transport from the neighbouring including Worsley, Pendlebury and Manchester City Centre. To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have: QTS Experience teaching Science to GCSE level Both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers are urged to apply for this position as all relevant induction and support will be provided.
