A thriving secondary school located in Durham is looking to appoint a committed and skilled Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department from September 2025.
This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking a supportive school and experienced teachers looking for a fresh challenge in a well-resourced, forward-thinking school with strong leadership and excellent student behaviour.
The Role:
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available for suitable candidates)
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to mixed abilities
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Take part in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
- Inspire students to develop a love for Maths and achieve their full potential
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A Maths-related degree and sound subject knowledge
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
