A thriving secondary school located in Durham is looking to appoint a committed and skilled Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department from September 2025.

This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking a supportive school and experienced teachers looking for a fresh challenge in a well-resourced, forward-thinking school with strong leadership and excellent student behaviour.

The Role:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 may be available for suitable candidates)
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to mixed abilities
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Take part in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
