We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our secondary school and help students discover the power, joy, and discipline of music. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who believes music is central to student expression, confidence, and community.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable), covering areas such as performance, composition, and music technology. You will inspire students of all abilities, nurture talent, and encourage participation in both classroom learning and extracurricular music activities.

You will contribute to a vibrant music department by leading or supporting ensembles, concerts, productions, and whole-school events. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help develop a dynamic curriculum that reflects a wide range of musical styles and cultures.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable), covering performance, composition, and music technology.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong subject knowledge, energy, and excellent classroom practice, with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and achievement.

  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
