About the Role
We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join a primary school in the NG20 area. The role involves teaching a Key Stage 1 class and supporting pupils as they move from early years into more structured learning. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the Year 1 curriculum and ensuring pupils are supported as they develop key skills in reading, writing and maths.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Support pupils with phonics, early reading and basic numeracy skills
- Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Assess and track pupil progress regularly
- Work with teaching assistants to support learning needs

Requirements
