The Role

As an SEN Maths Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging, flexible Maths education to learners taught in small groups or 1:1 across a number of local learning hubs. Working closely with senior teaching staff, you’ll help design and deliver multi-sensory, innovative, learning experiences tailored to each learner’s needs, interests and goals. This is a role for someone who believes education is about confidence, connection and progress - academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and review personalised Maths programmes
  • Use creative and varied teaching strategies to maximise engagement
  • Champion young people’s voice and involvement in their learning
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and risk management procedures are followed
  • Support SEN documentation, assessments, progress tracking and reporting
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records, including EHCP-related reporting
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and SEN best practice
