Geography teacher required to fulfil a full-time teaching role for 1 term starting September 2026. Teaching Personnel are looking for a Geographer to teach at this school for a term in the first instance from September – December 2026. This secondary school is situated in the central Manchester area with the teacher of Geography being required for an open vacancy within the Humanities department.
Working closely with this school (and the wider trust), the school are keen to take a Geography teacher on for a term via supply with the view to being shortlisted/securing a school-based contract if successful and applicable thereafter. The school have had the benefit of one of the current Geography teachers advise them of their pending resignation as a result of a personal relocation. The school have therefore gained more notice in their requirement of a confident, strong and successful Geographer to join their supportive Geography department.
This position as an open vacancy is for an unknown period of time but the successful Geography specialist will have the opportunity to earn a school-based contract if this is ideal for them. The school are interested in using this supply-based placement as a trial towards a permanent position being secured. Initially the successful teacher of Geography will be required for a term until the Christmas break.
